BENEFITS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY!
Physical activity (exercise) has been shown to be universally beneficial. The Mayo Clinic relates at least six of those benefits including: 1) Helps to control weight. 2) Combating disease and chronic illnesses like: Strokes, Metabolic syndrome, High blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, Depression, Anxiety, many types of cancer, Arthritis and Falls. “It also can help improve cognitive function and helps lower the risk of death from all causes.” 3) Mood improvement. 4) Boost in energy. 5) Promotes better sleep. 6) Improvement in sexual functions. You don’t have to join a gym or pay for an expensive piece of equipment, try walking more, taking the stairs, do house chores like vacuuming or gardening, yard work, etc. Increasing the number of steps or distance covered or the amount of time spent in physical activity, will pay tremendous dividends.
